More than 5,000 women put on colourful outfits to raise money for Cancer Research in a 5km run around Oxford's University Parks the weekend of 6-7 June 2009.

The OX5 Run this morning was a great success as more than 700 people turned out to help raise money for sick and injured children. 10.12.2008. Colourful characters including Superman and Rudolph the Reindeer braved the cold to tackle the 30th Christmas Council Fun Run in Oxford. More than 160 staff from both Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council as well as guests yesterday took part in the annual event – a 2.25-mile two-lap race around Christ Church Meadow.
